Hi Blog! It's Sophia. Today was the first official learning day at Math Camp. I am having a lot of fun. Today in class, we learned about lots of things. For example, we learned about Hypatia. She was the first really important female mathematician.
We also learned about:
- Venn Diagrams and got to know each other with a Venn Diagram, Venn Diagram
- Polynomials
- Sets
- Terms
- Played the game Set
We also took estimations of the perimeter of the WIU Flag.
When we went to the computer lab, we learned all about polynomiography and created wonderful artwork through equations. This is one of my pieces that came from my name turned into an equations.
